About

Valerie Niemeyer is a Seattle-based picture book author and illustrator. Her work is heavily inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounds her as well as her childhood obsession with fairies and woodland creatures. She is currently completing her master’s degree in couples and family therapy with an art therapy specialization.
